​​​Inspiration: I had an art exhibition coming up at Norden Farm, and had already painted 'The Rose' when I had a great idea to make them into a series. I had bought a job lot of ten 24" x 24" inch canvasses previously that I had intended for this purpose. It also reminded me of a project at school that I enjoyed, of testing different backgrounds and textures. What better way to revisit some trials, making some backgrounds for some bold white flowers. This is number 2 of 4.  ​​​​​
