​​​Inspiration: A view from Tioga Pass looking back at Half Dome in Yosemite. This was an unexpected view as we were driving away from Yosemite. Cold, crisp, clear and blue, with air you could taste the freshness on. It was a dramatic drive as parts of the Park were smoking after a recent fire, but also still covered in snow. I regret not taking an amazing photo on the route, smoke, steam, sunlight, snow and charcoal.
