​​​Inspiration:  This was one of those I am in the mood to paint but don't know what is going to come out paintings. I sat with this one for a long time wondering whether it was actually finished. I would usually add another layer or two to it, but for once, I decided I quite liked it as it was. Calm, intricate but simple, bold, but muted. A ripple for all echoes.​​​​
