Inspiration: This painting grew entirely on its own. I decided I needed to paint so I started with the background to let off some steam and then looked at it until I had an idea. This time the idea was a strong black and white outline of flower. I am not sure why, but sometimes I feel like this flower, glowing hard in the darkness and chaos, or at least trying to.
